We allow people to protect and monitor assets around the world by avoiding the traditional need for cabling, significant maintenance, time-consuming installation processes and data storage issues.

Unlike traditional and current competitive hardware products,
our hardware requires no existing infrastructure. Additionally, we are able to send footage across the cellular network to an online, secure environment (MyMi5).

MyMi5 is a cloud-based VSaaS (Video Surveillance as a Service) solution. Unlike other offerings in the new VSaaS category, MyMi5 is positioned as a management platform for remote cameras that are both wireless and wire-free.

Traditional VSaaS solutions are not able to show battery life indicators or provide hardware management remotely – in fact, the vast majority of VSaaS services are only able to access wired, traditional video based solutions and act merely as an image repository.

In addition, footage is very bulky when using traditional video capture techniques, adding running costs in remote locations that are significantly higher than those we offer.

Existing VSaaS services are often limited to a proprietary hardware set, and offerings are designed for Security Monitoring Stations (i.e. send guards onsite when activity is noted) or professional Security Companies to access and manage. Our system requires no formal training or expertise at any level of the value chain.

In May 2011, we won the product innovation award at the prestigious NZ HiTech Awards, and in Los Angeles in December 2011, the company was announced as a winner of the Global 100 award by Red Herring group – recognition that our business is one of the most promising technology companies in the world.

This is particularly exciting for us because the editors at Red Herring were amongst the first to recognize that companies like Google, YouTube, ebay and Skype, would change the way we live and work.
